4) The School is thinking about having a local bus to advertise the school. Change the colour scheme of both buses to a similar style that uses KES colours and Logos. Use Right Mouse, then "Save Target as" > all Files and name it KesBus.ai when you download this Illustrator File. Test your design scheme effectiveness by showing it to others, modifying it further in the light of these discussions.

5) Attempt to create the following document which will give people Directions to the Amazing Corn Maze. Once the second page is complete you can design and add you own Logo for the event..

Spring 3: Group Project - Advertisement
You must plan an advertising campaign for the forthcoming Amazing Corn Maze this will be on land opposite the entrance to Bath University. You must select how you wish to advertise for example- Radio, Posters, Flyers, Website, Flash Banner (on yours or others website), Newspaper, Bus/Taxi or TV. Your group (3 to 4 students) must design, make and test the adverts. A logo might give a "corporate" theme. Don't forget to include details of how to get there (map / directions), the price and when it is open! You will need to produce tickets again with Logo and varying prices Adult / Senior / Child - will you give a discount (10%) if bought in advance from local shops? Is parking free? Each form of advertising will cost you varying sums of money that will be offset against the visitors and the price charged. The quality of all adverts is another key feature, though maximum profit is your main aim. Download the spreadsheet which contains the various costs - if you have an idea that is not covered email TGM - who will update it! Long TV ads shown at peak times will be the most expensive and hence less likly to make a profit overall. The Event in 2011 starts on Friday 27th May at 4pm. The Maze will close at 8pm on Sunday 3rd July. Normal opening is 4pm - 8pm weekdays and 10am - 8pm at weekends.

Research: Investigate - how others have advertised in your chosen forms. For example what size of flash banner would you need - what site would you want to publish this on. Try this Google Search and modify it. Why would you not publish on Wiki? Would you advertise on International, National or Local sites? Consider Groupon or ThisisBath. What would be a good local site for your adverts? Are Animated gif's used as an effective alternative to a flash banner? Should your flash banner have sound? The same applies for a whole website or an advert in a shop window. Some Sites to review...
