Autumn 1: Consider changing your password - is it secure (must have one capital letter, one lower case letter & a number with at least 8 characters in total - example Thenry14)? Clear your workarea (P Drive), but keep your best 2 example of work for every program used.
You may wish to create folders and subfolders to store your work in for example ICT with Year7 within or the other way round a Year 7 folder + subject folders for this year (8)!
Autumn 2: Presenting Drawings / Illustrations (Illustrator).
Try for yourself after each lesson in Menu A. By the end of Menu A complete Jicasso's Duck then attempt Set Shapes Exercise 1. This work should have your name added and printed. You can now look at images from the internet ... click here to see an extract from Google Images. Select a few basic characters / animals and try to create in illustrator < try ones that you think you can create, not the ones with lots of detail! Hand to your teacher. Now watch the lessons in Menu B...
and attempt at least 4 examples of your own African Art in at least 2 files. Now watch the lessons in Menu C...
In a chosen Modern Language Design a Wanted Poster. Watch Lessons 16 & 17 again and design your own electrical circuit / science experiment!
The First Assessment will be based on Illustrator. There is one Extra Lesson to watch. This website will not be available during the Assessment.
Autumn 3: Desktop Publishing (InDesign) looking at page layout and Design. Watch all Lessons from "InDesign A"

Exercise 2: Look at the 12 Newspaper Styles. For topics of your own choice, preferably related to work in other subjects, search the Internet for text and images. Create upto 12 documents in sequence use the Appearance / Style of the 12 Newspapers. You can also use text and images from The Times Archive. Search these Online Newspapers The Times The Mail The Telegraph Others for information to present with images from Google.If you are not sure how to complete a task review the lessons from InDesignA and InDesignB above. You may print B&W copies when complete to show your teacher and store in your wallet folder.The Second Assessment will be based on InDesign.
Exercise 3: The Shoe Advert... Produce via InDesign an "Advert" as identical as is possible! Take your images from the example, but type the text in!
